NO MORE NERFS
I am sorry if it has somehow made PvP harder on you. Either learn to play better as few other people seem to have a problem with it, or join PvE and bitch about how PvPers are always getting good skills nerfed.

Oh noes the most versitlie class in the game uses a secondary prof skill well, nerf it to hell.
W/E OP, it's a fine skill, you wanna nerf Purge Sig too, cause Rangers use it as well?
Besides by the sound of it if your haveing problems with a Ranger useing Mend Touch I'm going to guess you have more and larger problems anyway.
[skill]Arcane Thievery[/skill] or [skill]Arcane Larceny[/skill] > Mend Touch on a Ranger bar, typically the only spell a Ranger has so the "random" is easy.

why? its not even a great move, its fine for yourself. But its a pain to heal allies with a touch move, monks kiting and running everywhere, ranger cant rly stay near them.
If it was a target spell id agree, otherwise nty, keep it as is, its downside is that its a touch.
And before any flames, i know a touch means it costs 2 energy instead of 5 on a ranger, but an extra 3 energy wouldnt be much anyway

You know, despite all the flaming, the OP has a legit point. A R/Mo can be quite useful in a split.
Granted, a warrior with signet of malice can solo split. The NPCs rely on conditions a lot.
However, due to the existance of cross classes, I think a.net kinda like these sort of creative uses of skills. Although it is a bit overpowered and geared towards secondaries (mending touch was instantly seen as a great skill for secondarys but not primaries), I think that is kinda the point of the skill as it is.

I think scaling it really would be the best bet, at the moment a ranger i always going to carry mending touch. Of course if/when it gets the nerf, Purge Sig becomes the new loverly skill, but still, scaling a skill like Mending Touch, while it doesnt nerf it for its primary line, it makes you actually put pts into the line for its usefulness
